Trading
Trade cards with other players through trade zones, wishlists, and the marketplace. Rhystic keeps trading in-app so your collection updates when a trade is finalised—no manual bookkeeping.
To access the Marketplace, you need to share your location and contact details in your profile. We use this so other traders can find you and get in touch. Your location is only shared in the context of trades—visible to trade partners when you trade with them—and we do not use it for any other purpose. For more on how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
What sets us apart
- Trade zones — One user creates a trade and gets a join code; the other joins. Both add cards from their collection into the zone. When you’re happy, the host finalises and both collections update automatically.
- Wishlist & trade list — Publish what you have and what you want. Others can browse and use that to start a trade or find you on the marketplace.
- No payment handling — We don’t process money. Trades are card-for-card; if you and a partner agree to add cash or other terms, that’s between you. We only update who owns which cards.
- Borrowing vs trading — Team borrowing is separate: you “borrow” cards from a teammate for a deck; ownership doesn’t change. Trading is a permanent swap.
How to use it
Set up your trade list (what you have) and wishlist (what you want). Use the Marketplace to browse others’ lists and find trade opportunities. To run a trade, go to Trades, start a new trade zone, and share the join code with your partner. They join, you both add cards, then the host finalises. Both collections update once the trade is complete. You’re responsible for physically exchanging the cards; Rhystic only updates the digital records.
